OMOH vs. HOMO

A colleague recently noted that it is really hilarious to watch OMOH interrupting gay-pride events on the TV.
The funny thing is that OMON (that’s how it should be pronounced, отряд милиции особого назначения) in Cyrillic looks like OMOH ;)
